In this volume edited by Prof. Khalifa E. Sharquie, Dr. Ahmed Abdul-Aziz Ahmed, and Dr. Abdullah Mancy, we are happy to share with the scientific community the highest level of clinical investigation and solution of clinical cases. The content of this atlas and textbook includes 100 clinically challenging cases in dermatology and cosmetic and aesthetic dermatology. This kind of content is basically related to reports of singular clinical cases and represents a new and extraordinary platform for teaching students, medical doctors, and also academicians.
What is special in this book?
Well, first of all, the large variety in the clinical cases, which cover all that is relevant in our discipline. Also extremely relevant is the choice of examinations for making the correct diagnosis in simple, less simple, or extremely controversial clinical cases. Each clinical case gives the reader the opportunity to enter into our discipline and to realize—starting with the clinical examination—how important the teaching role can be, as well as the creation of an algorithm of priorities for identifying and correctly reading different situations, both benign and malignant.
We are impressed with the extremely high level of knowledge that will be shared with the scientific community thanks to the excellent work of the Editors. We hope that this will be the first of a long series of other books—and possibly videos—which will make it easier to enter the complex and enigmatic field of dermatology and cosmetic and aesthetic dermatology.
Congratulations to the Authors, and a special thanks to the readers. We hope to find this book on your desk and that you will have the chance, each and every day of your working life, to consult the volume in order to find explanation and inspiration for your everyday activities.
